At Opteon, we are passionate about technology that empowers our people. That belief is at the heart of our latest innovation: the pilot of Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) to support our Valuation team.
This new capability will leverage a blend of cutting-edge AI tools, proprietary system development and Robotic Process Automation to classify and extract information from key documents including Contracts of Sale and Title Searches. With built-in processes to ensure expert validation, the result is anticipated to be reduced manual effort and improved data accuracy.
For our Valuers and Clients, this is expected to mean:
This project is a collaboration between Opteon’s Business Excellence, Operations and Technology teams.
For Opteon’s Senior Director - Product Delivery, Peter Muma, it has been a labour of love for the technology team:
“Working to embed AI capability within Opteon’s valuation workflow has been the culmination of months of research and development including assessing every part of the solution design, various iterations of testing and learning, and careful selection of leading edge AI models to build an innovative solution that meets Opteon’s high data security standards.”
This trial marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for Opteon. Head of Business Excellence, Carly O’Neill said:
“We have barely scratched the surface of what this capability will enable for Opteon and our Clients. This trial represents the foundational technology that will enable automated document analysis, deeper data extraction and AI enabled Quality Management solutions. All further reducing effort and improving consistency while keeping the Valuer in control of the end output.”
Opteon continues to lead the way in valuation innovation, enabling our teams with best-in-class tools to deliver more value to customers.
