Avella Taylor

Avella is a Registered Valuer with over a decade of experience at Opteon, where she currently serves as the National Director – NZ. In this role, she leads both the Market Valuation and Government & Advisory teams across New Zealand.

Her career spans a broad spectrum of the property sector, including residential market valuations, rating and taxing, financial reporting, stakeholder engagement, and project governance and delivery. Avella has also held key governance positions, including serving as the former Chair of the NZIV/PINZ Auckland Branch and Northern Representative on the Property Institute of New Zealand Board.

Avella is passionate about driving growth in the New Zealand business through innovative technology solutions, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing service delivery for clients. Her leadership is grounded in a commitment to continuous improvement and creating high-performing, future-focused teams.
