Industry Experience
Michael joined Opteon in 2024 as a Valuer in the Government Services team and has over 25 years of experience in the property industry. Michael undertakes valuation work for revaluation and maintenance projects across several councils, including Hamilton City Council, Tauranga City Council, Matamata-Piako District Council, Rotorua Lakes Council, South Waikato District Council, and Taupo District Council.
Before joining Opteon, Michael worked as a commercial and industrial real estate agent in the UK and in Tauranga, New Zealand, where he has been based since 2011. Across both markets, he gained extensive knowledge in leasing, sales, rent reviews, and property management.
