Industry Experience
Sam commenced with Opteon in January 2026, bringing experience in the property industry since 2022. Prior to joining Opteon, Sam worked as a Valuation Assistant, supporting a range of valuation assignments, including council revaluations, and developing strong technical foundations. Sam has experience across a variety of residential assets, including large-scale residential developments, with additional exposure to commercial and industrial property. Sam specializes in government rating valuations and revaluations. At Opteon, Sam has contributed to multiple council contracts, including the Taupō revaluation, along with roll maintenance for Auckland South, Hamilton, and Matamata. Sam prepares valuations for rating purposes and demonstrates a growing capability across large-scale council valuation programs.
