Celebrating Excellence: Alexis LaBrecque Leads the Way in Opteon’s UAD 3.6 Journey
At Opteon, innovation isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something our people make real.
This week, we’re proud to celebrate a major milestone not only for our organization, but for the future of real estate valuation: Alexis LaBrecque has successfully completed Opteon’s first two live production UAD 3.6 appraisals using Jaro software.
This achievement marks a pivotal moment in Opteon’s evolution as we move boldly into the next era of appraisal reporting. The transition to UAD 3.6 represents one of the most significant industry shifts in years, reshaping how data is captured, structured, and communicated. Completing this first live production order wasn’t simply about checking a box—it required exceptional technical skill, cross‑functional collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to accuracy and excellence.
And Alexis rose to the challenge with exactly that.
A Milestone Years in the Making
Successfully delivering the company’s first 3.6‑compliant appraisals is both a technical win and a strategic one. With UAD 3.6 introducing new dynamic reporting, expanded data structures, and a fundamentally different workflow, the learning curve for appraisers is significant.
But instead of approaching this change with hesitation, Alexis, a staff appraiser at Opteon, approached it with dedication, persistence, and professionalism—setting the tone for the entire organization.
As part of Opteon Appraisal’s Vanguard Group, a test‑and‑learn cohort of staff appraisers, Alexis has been on the forefront of piloting new JaroInspect and JaroKit capabilities. The Vanguard Group plays a critical role in shaping Opteon’s technology by providing real‑world field insight before broader release. This hands‑on experience not only equips appraisers like Alexis with tools refined through practical use but also gives our tech teams the feedback needed to drive quality, efficiency, and adoption across the organization.
Maria Berto, General Manager of US Professional Services, summed it up perfectly:
“Alexis, thank you for the dedication, persistence, and professionalism you brought to this work. You are helping set the standard for how Opteon shows up in the market, and your contribution reinforces that we are a force to be reckoned with as the industry transitions to 3.6.”
A True Team Effort
While Alexis led the charge on these first production orders, this milestone represents the strength and collaboration of our entire organization. Bringing UAD 3.6 to life has required deep coordination across product, development, operations, QC, support teams, and every appraiser who has shown up eager to learn.
Alexis underscored this beautifully in her reflections:
“It was a tremendous team effort. The team has built a great platform to help all of us appraisers with this transition, and everyone has been so helpful and supportive. Everyone at all levels is working together, which makes all this much easier to process.”
Change is always easier when people choose to move through it together. For Alexis, accessing Jaro’s evolving tools—and the expertise of those building them—made all the difference.
She continued:
“Working with the Dev Team on this order was a truly unique experience… having their support in understanding the 3.6 order was incredibly valuable for me. Each team member brought thoughtful insights that helped me better navigate this new landscape. Gaining confidence will take time, along with practice and repetition. Jaro remains very intuitive and user‑friendly, and I’ve been a big fan since we first started using it—it’s just a lot more information to absorb and process at once.”
Her honesty captures exactly what this moment represents: progress. Iteration. Learning. Growth.
And above all, teamwork.
Leading the Way to UAD 3.6—Together
Alexis’s success marks the start of UAD 3.6 Broad Production, with Mandatory Use beginning November 2, 2026. Following her success, Dave Hallman and Summer Beckham completed and delivered UAD 3.6 and UAD 2.6 orders side-by-side last week, continuing to build on the foundation Alexis helped set.
