Specialised Valuations to Support Your Rating Objection

Rating revaluations are required to be completed on all properties in New Zealand, usually once every three years, to assist Councils to apportion rates. A Rating Valuation is based on the likely selling price (market value) of a property (excluding chattels) taken at a time of your local Council’s general revaluation. These valuations undergo extensive quality standards before being confirmed, however, sometimes property owners may wish to submit an objection on their property’s rating value.
