Jonathan Brand serves as Executive Vice President and U.S. General Counsel of Opteon, leading the company’s legal strategy and advising senior leadership on critical business priorities. With over twenty years of experience, he brings deep expertise in complex transactions, regulatory compliance, labor and employment, litigation, and technology-related legal matters in financial services. Jonathan is a collaborative business partner, working across the organization to enable growth, while also managing risk, and upholding strong governance, privacy, and compliance standards.
Prior to joining Opteon, Jonathan served as Vice President of Corporate Legal and Head of Legal for the largest account receivable management company in the United States, overseeing legal matters across its global operations.
Jonathan holds a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a B.A. from the University of Florida. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with his family.
