Industry Experience

Ben joined the team at Opteon as Associate Director in Darwin. He brings with him over 17 years of valuation and advisory experience spanning over three capital cities including Darwin, Melbourne and Adelaide. Ben has extensive experience in residential and commercial valuations for mortgage security, stamp duty, acquisition, disposal, rental assessment and family law purposes.

Ben is a current local government elected Councilor of the City of Palmerston, a position he has held since early 2018. In that time, has served as an Alderman, Deputy Mayor and Acting Mayor. He is currently a sitting member of the Palmerston division of the Development Consent Authority and Council’s delegate to the Palmerston Regional Business Association. Ben has nominated for re-election at the upcoming local government elections in August 2021.
