Industry Experience
In 2011, Doug became a Certified Practising Valuer in Western Australia with five years prior commercial valuation experience in Auckland, New Zealand.
Doug has been working with Opteon since 2016. In 2022, Doug was appointed as the national Head of Department for the Social Infrastructure team with significant experience within the childcare, education, medical and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) sectors.
Doug also has extensive experience within WA across the office, retail (shopping centres; large format retail) and industrial asset classes together with more specialised asset types such as trading properties, including childcare centres/businesses, service stations, caravan parks and licensed premises.

Industry Experience
Daniel has over 25 years’ experience in the Property and Valuation Industry with expertise in multiple asset classes throughout Adelaide and regional South Australia. His areas of specialisation include middle market office, retail and industrial assets ($5-$25 million), childcare (including freehold going concerns), tourism and accommodation assets (motels, caravan parks) and residential development projects. He is an approved panel valuer for all major Australian banks and has undertaken numerous valuations for legal purposes (including for family law and commercial litigation matters). Daniel is also an experienced compulsory acquisition valuer and is a current examiner for the Australian Property Institute for both RPV and CPV applicants.

Shane has been in the property industry since May 2014 commencing as a Graduate Valuer whilst completing studies at Curtin University (Perth).
In 2016, Shane qualified as a Certified Practising Valuer with the Australian Property Institute and DMIRS.
Shane is part of the commercial team in Western Australia conducting valuations focusing on commercial property (such as industrial, office, retail and medical assets) whilst also completing rent roll and specialist disability accommodation (SDA) valuations.
Shane holds the title of Director - Commercial, overseeing a new team of highly skilled commercial valuers.

Industry Experience
Seamus is a highly motivated property professional with over ten years’ experience within the commercial valuation industry. Seamus commenced with Opteon shortly after completing his Bachelor of Property Economics at the University of Technology Sydney. After working hard on increasing his skill set and expertise whenever he can, he has since gone on to complete his MBA in 2019.
Seamus is currently based near the Sydney CBD and concentrates on the Sydney metro area. His clients include both large and boutique lenders, government departments, accountancy and legal firms, and private citizens. He was nominated as the NSW representative for Opteon’s Youth Leadership Team 2015-2016, building his skills not only in the valuation industry but as a professional leader.

Andrew has been employed by Opteon since 2016 and has over 8 years of property experience across a range of valuation sectors including municipal, Residential Development, Commercial and Residential property markets. In Andrew’s current role as Associate Director within the Residential Development Team, he provides valuations of both commercial and residential development properties. Andrew has diverse knowledge and skills and has a great understanding of the markets in which he operates. Andrew predominantly provides advice on large development projects across metro Melbourne and the western districts including Geelong. He is well versed in Hypothetical Development Analysis and is a licensed user of Estate Master.
