Industry Experience

Melanie is an accomplished Certified Practising Valuer with extensive experience across Tasmania’s North West to West Coast and South Australia. Since joining Opteon in 2018, she has built strong expertise in residential, rural residential, and specialised rural/agribusiness valuations. Over time, her focus has evolved from general mortgage and non‑mortgage valuation work to becoming a highly capable rural valuer with deep knowledge of agricultural asset classes and complex valuation scenarios.

Prior to Opteon, Melanie built a solid valuation foundation through roles with Nab Valuations, Cradle Coast Valuers, and the State Valuation Office (SA), undertaking mass valuation programs, rental assessments, land subdivisions, and government valuation assignments.
