Industry Experience

Damien began his valuation career in 2008 as a cadet valuer on the Mornington Peninsula. Since then, he has developed strong expertise in residential valuations across Metropolitan Melbourne, with a particular focus on prestige and high-value assets. He also holds a full agent’s licence and has commercial property experience across retail, office, and development sites.

Damien has held senior leadership roles since 2017, including Associate Director and State Director of Residential, leading teams across Victoria. He has completed valuations for mortgage and non-mortgage purposes including financial reporting, family law, insurance, and capital gains tax. His government experience includes work for the Valuer-General Victoria, the Department of Transport and Planning, and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.

CPV-qualified and recognised for his leadership, client management, and technical expertise, Damien brings over 15 years of property industry experience to Opteon, having joined Opteon in September 2025
