Industry Experience
Rob joined Opteon in November 2025, bringing eight years of industry experience, including five years as a qualified valuation professional. Prior to Opteon, he worked with Charter Keck Cramer and Jones Lang Lasalle, gaining exposure to diverse property sectors.
For the past five years, Rob has specialised in residential subdivisions, focusing primarily on large-format, master planned communities. While the majority of this work has been for mortgage purposes, his experience also includes valuations for rating and taxing, family law, financial reporting, disposal/acquisition, and compensation matters. His client base has been varied, comprising major banks, second-tier lenders, and private clients. Rob has also completed valuations for the Australian Tax Office and referral authorities such as Yarra Valley Water.
In addition to his technical expertise, Rob has held a management role for the past five years, mentoring graduate and assistant valuers, managing complex engagements independently, and conducting peer reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
