William Reynolds – Winner of Property Professional of The Year

It gives us great pleasure to announce that Opteon’s Director of Professional Standards, William Reynolds, has won the RICS 2020 Property Professional of The Year award. This is a tremendous achievement and speaks to William’s immense contribution to the property valuation sector.
Presented by RICS, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, this award is hailed as one of the industry’s most prestigious honours. The RICS Property Professional of The Year award is given annually to a professional who demonstrates an exceptional contribution to the property industry and the wider community. William’s contribution to the property valuation sector is evident throughout his career which spans over 35 years, making this a well-deserved victory.
With a Bachelor of Business (Land Economy) and as a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute (API), William has a broad range of expertise and is recognised as a highly skilled and motivated individual with strong leadership skills. William has mentored a long list of valuers throughout his career and has played a key role in developing many senior commercial valuers currently practicing today.
William is honored to be recognised for his contributions and says,
“Through my long career in the property valuation industry I have demonstrated my commitment to excellence in valuations and professionalism through ongoing participation in the property sector. I was an early adopter of technology for valuation purposes in the eighties, I have been an advocate of valuation standards and professional ethics, and I continue to push for innovative solutions that maintain the highest standards of quality.”
